Welcome to Mackinaw Valley Gun Dogs
Our focus at Mackinaw Valley Gun Dogs is to produce a healthy, intelligent Labrador Retriever with a strong pointing instinct. We strive to improve the pointing strain of Labradors, without sacrificing their retrieving ability. Our labs are expected to be hard charging upland and waterfowl hunters, as well as relaxed family companions.
We also produce the occasional litter of Epagneul Bretons (French Brittany). The goal with our EBs is to create conformationally sound puppies that will make excellent hunting partners.
